Rebasing, merging, etc say master in the current README which has been changed to main by GitHub as the default branch.

git init still creates a master branch by default.

@Jan200101 that's a good catch. So do you think we should write both separately or do you think we should just mention that it's an either or depending on how the repo is made?

I am thinking of the latter.
