Airmon-ng crashes the rtl8192eu.

A document describing the process of installing the rtl8192eu driver from https://github.com/codedwrench/rtl8192eu and enabling monitor mode manually through ifconfig and iwconfig is preferable.

Requirements:

  • Instructions for (atleast) Debian systems on how to install, load the driver and blacklist the old one.
  • Instructions on how to switch the device to monitor mode with data frames showing!
  • A disclaimer about connecting to adhoc networks (this can cause the kernel to lock up :-/ )
  • Some basic troubleshooting steps, things like unloading and reloading the driver, checking dmesg.
  • Put under Docs/ folder as an md, html or latex file or less preferably a doc file.
