Add information to Meetup #310

A note that Meetup has no formatting in their event descriptions. I think we should pair this with issue #311 and make a couple event descriptions on the website that have a bit more rich formatting. |
PROPOSED PROFILE Code for Denver is a group of like minded people coming together to build the next great generation of civic hackers, innovators, and disruptors here in Colorado. We are a Code for America Brigade community with regular meetups and other events to bring together creative problem solvers with community groups, nonprofits, and local government to address some of our most pressing 21st century problems through technology. We code, hack, strategise, and design to build a better future together by making our city work for the people, by the people, in the digital age. |
RETURNING Members - Team Project Night Team Project Night is centered around our existing project teams, giving everyone time to work on the projects together. We don’t have onboarding on these nights, though everyone is welcome to come and see what our community feels like. If you’re a new member, or curious about joining Code for Denver, next Monday is our NEW & RETURNING Members night where you can experience an onboarding session and be able to join a project team. You can learn more about Code for Denver, including our open projects, at www.codefordenver.org or through our 2016 Story Video CODE OF CONDUCT This event follows Code for Denver’s Code of Conduct, please read it before attending. If you have any concerns, please contact safespace@codefordenver.org FAQ There is a full FAQ posted on our github, but here are some highlights we think are important. Where is Galvanize, and where do I park? There’s ample street parking all around, both 2 hour and metered parking should be free of charge and time limit during our meetings. Anywhere along the pink paths in the map below is open parking. Galvanize is marked by the red pin, and dark grey box. What do I need to bring to my first meetup? I'm a beginner programmer. Can I still get involved? I'm not a programmer or interested in programming. Can I still get involved? What is Code for Denver current working on? Who can I contact for additional questions? USEFUL LINKS
