Delete key broken in FF #1

On Firefox (tested on Mac FF 3.5), the delete key stops working.

To reproduce:

Visit http://jsbin.com/ocamu
Click anywhere on the first line (or 2nd blank line)
Press delete
--> char is not deleted

In Chrome, I can click on either line and delete as normal.

I'm not able to replicate this issue.
