Description of the problem

Using the official code sandbox template for react and typescript, the
app doesn't run

How has this issue affected you? What are you trying to accomplish?

Needed to integrate typescript myself using babel and the typescript compiler.

You can put any other things you will like us to know here.

In general its be good to vet at least the official code sandbox templates and maybe other popular templates to ensure they compile and run within play.js
