I am working on reactjs this issue came up when updating label and data dynamical

Good point, there is no logic for this atm. It would be somewhat difficult to get this to work correctly, because we need to figure out what would happen if one of the series has been hidden.

A PR is welcome if anyone wants to take a stab at this. I don't have time for it myself currently.

Is there a workaround for this at all? I'm creating the chart with 2 series of data and calling #update later with 3 series and the graph updates but the legend doesn't. Even if I destroy the legend container element it will be re-created with just the 2 series' names.

Such a shame, this makes it unusable with dynamic labels, multiple series, etc.
