we use these in emergent for zooming, panning 3D display -- seem pretty useful there, but would be good to make sure they don't have same wrap-around and other bugs.

We will not support thumbwheel widgets. Thumbwheel widgets provide an imprecise and platform-specific way of doing things, which is strongly contrary to the principles of Cogent Core and the Go programming language.
