The current time table is very basic and outdated. We have an idea of a new time table feature wherein the user is asked to enter their schedule for a particular day with details such as subject name, time, duration, etc.
After this the user will get a notification at the end of their each class to mark their attendance.

So for this feature enhancement you are suggesting to replace the current image of the users timetable with an interactive feature that asks the student to build daily schedules?

My assumption is this would all be stored locally in the database. Would there be Firebase integration as well?

Hi @rscottcarson!
You are right the timetable will be stored locally using room database. We've already started working on this feature. You can look at the code and see what we've done so far.
The subjects can be added in the attendance fragment and you can schedule those subjects in the timetable activity. Then the user will get a notification at the end of the class asking them to mark their attendance for that class.
