I want to use this for sd forge and merge into into the model, but I can't convert the purple latent to the red vae input required for merging models and saving the checkpoint. |

I do a lot of custom dreambooth finetunings for SDXL, and recently came across the VAE Encode option where you can put an image in and use it as the VAE.
I found a specific image that seems to make the entire model and likeness more accurate for some reason, while still staying flexible.
Are there any side effects to doing this? Also, how can I save this VAE so I can use it in other apps, like for those times I use SD Forge?
I tried a save model merge but it seems like I can only select preexisting Vae's or I'm doing something wrong.
It seems like Juggernaut v9 is using a custom VAE and wondering if this is actually hiw they made it. Can't believe I never knew about this.
