not detecting a lot of the time #4

10 second window
macbook pro built-in microphone
no loud noises, just ambient noise

volume-meter will emit 0 the entire time. Maybe something wrong with the tweening of the volume #?

Trying to use this to detect when the microphone makes any noise at all, even ambient noise, to verify that users have a working mic.

Any ideas?
