Temporarily stop updating the position

What is the user problem or growth opportunity you want to see solved?

I would like the current position not to change so that I can add images that have already been taken later.

How do you know that this problem exists today? Why is this important?

(Currently, the position is constantly adjusted when traveling by train. Or even when I open the app again, the position is adjusted to the current location).
I would like to be able to temporarily switch off this desired behavior.

Who will benefit from it?

You are talking about the Nearby activity, right?

As a workaround for now, you can use an app such as "FakeGPS" to temporarily fake your location.

@nicolas-raoul Thanks for the tip. In the long term, I think it would be very nice if I could set this up directly in the Commons app.
