Indium 1.0.21 ran with Sodium 0.4.10+build27 causes chunks to become invisible? Only happens with Indium activated. #255

For Indium 1.0.21, you need to use Fabric API 0.88 or older. If that doesn't fix the issue, could you send the crash report / latest.log file? |
I am also running the same version of everything, tried Fabric API v0.88.1 and Fabric API v0.88.0. No matter the setup I have, it always results in some chunks not rendering, sometimes just single blocks as well. Shortly after launching if I break enough blocks or place enough things, the game just ends up crashing out. Crash report: Time: 2023-11-04 22:35:20 java.util.concurrent.CompletionException: net.minecraft.class_148: Tessellating block in world - Indium Renderer A detailed walkthrough of the error, its code path and all known details is as follows:-- Head -- -- Affected level -- -- Last reload -- -- System Details -- |
I've seen this issue myself with Fabric API above 0.88.1... (Sodium 0.4.10, Indium 1.0.21, Create 0.5.1-d): Downgrading Fabric API to 0.88.1 fixes the issue for Me, However Other Mods are now starting to REQUIRE a MINIMUM of Fabric API 0.90.0 (and up)... :( (Geckolib 4, for example). This is rapidly going to become more and more of an issue going forward, unless a Fix for this issue can be done. :( |
I'm also having the same issue, but when Indium is installed nothing except water and mobs are rendering. Disabling Indium in Modrinth allows the world to render, but most Create components such as water wheels and crushing wheels render as missing-texture cubes. I haven't really found any solutions. |
Heyo, I am trying to run a modded mc world with create mod on it as well as a few custom furniture mods, but to run create with the iris shaders I have to use Sodium 0.4.10, any more recent and the mods are incompatible. As a result I am limited to Indium versions compatible with Sodium 0.4.10.
Here is the issue: whenever I run Indium with Sodium, Iris, and Create, very specific blocks causes the game to crash, and the chunk to appear invisible upon relaunch. The blocks that cause this are not limited to just create blocks, items such as modded lamps and hedge fences also cause the game to crash and the chunk to become see through.
This issue does not occur if I disable the Indium mod, however when I do disable it, many items from the create mod do not load properly and become missing assets. The chunk is no longer invisible, but the items load weird.
I don't know what else to do, I have tried downloading the Sodium fix, which did work but not when Indium is installed and active, I've tried every version of Indium compatible with Sodium 0.4.10 that is in Minecraft 1.20.1 and that did not work. I cannot change my Iris shaders or Sodium version since to my knowledge, the ones I have installed currently are the only ones compatible with create.
Am I doomed to never run create with shaders? Or is there a way to mess with Indium settings to get it to work? I am not familiar with coding so is it fixable on my own?
I am losing my marbles please help me.

Fabric 0.14.23
