component-validator

Validate a component.json and normalize its values. This tries to be lenient by fixing any issues and logging instead of throwing, though throwing may be more appropriate.

API

validate(json, [options])

  • json - the contents of a component.json.
  • options - an object with the following properties:
    • filename - the path of the component.json for logging
    • verbose - print the log messages to stderr
