oṃ namo mañjuśrīkumārabhūtāya
atha vajradharaḥ śrīmān durdāntadamakaḥ paraḥ |
triloka vijayī vīro guhyarāṭ kuliśeśvaraḥ || 1 ||
nāmasaṅghītiṭippaṇī-amṛtakaṇikā
oṃ namo mañjunāthāya
viṣayaviṣayivyomāśleṣapravṛtta(tti)nimittakaḥ(kam)
raviśaśitamovāvṛtyā śarādi(ri) calakriyam |
sphuradurutarajñānajyoti (ḥ) śratiśabarādhipaṃ
maṇimayaśilārūḍhaṃ gūḍhaṃ namāmi nirāpa(spa)dam ||
amṛtakaṇikāyamānaṃ sadgurupādaprasādato'dhigatam |
taddīpyate mamāsīta(samāsāt) svasmṛtaye nāmasaṅgītaau ||
iha khalu śrīdhānyakaṭake mahācaaityasthāne nānātantraśravaṇārthibhiradhyeṣitaḥśrīśākya siṃho nāma buddho bhagavān caaitrapūrṇimāyāṃ śrīdharmadhātuvāgīśvara maṇḍalaṃ tadupari śrīmā(ma)nna kṣatramaṇḍalamādibuddhaṃ visphārya tatra tasminneva dine buddhābhiṣekaṃ dattvā devādibhyaḥ sarvamantranīti bṛhallaghutantrabhedena deśitavān | uktañca śrībṛhadādibuddha
gṛdhrakūṭe yathā "śāstrā prajñāpāramitā naye|
tathā mantranaye proktā śrīdhānye dharmadeśanā ||
iti | tatra ceyameva nāmasaṅgītiḥ paramaduravagāhaparamārthaniryāsādhikaraṇatvena sarvamantranaya pradhānabhūtā | atra ca vajradharasya bhagavataḥ paramākṣarajñānaṃ sarvabuddhabodhisattvānāṃ
[ed. p. 2] hṛdayabhūtaṃ tathāga saṃprakāśitam, ṣaṭkulanāḍīsamanvitaṣaṭcakravyavasthitadvāṣaṣṭyadhikaśatanāḍīnirodhā viśuddhyā dvāṣaṣṭyadhikaśataślokaiḥ, śeṣaiścānuśaṃsādikamiti |
tatra tāvata, atha vajadharaḥ śrīmānityādiṣoḍaśaślokaradhyeṣaṇāvyājena tadeva paramākṣaramāha—
atheti | akāreṇātra naairātmyapratipādakatvena sarvākāravaropetā śūnyatā proktā | thakāreṇāpyakṣobhya svabhāvapratipādanena nirālambakaruṇā | etacca suviśadaṃ saṃpuṭaṃ (suviśadasphuṭaṃ) hevajraṭīkāyāṃ vyākhyātam | tayoradvadhāt maṇivaraṭakāntaḥsthitasahajānandaśukrameva śabdābhidheyam, atyucyate | uktañca—
ekāre madhyavaṃkāraḥ sarvabuddhasukhālayaḥ |
khadhātaau vanasattvo 'yaṃ kāyavāñcittayogataḥ ||
kāyo bindvinduḥ śukraṃ ca vāg visargo rajo raviḥ |
cittākārāstvamī proktā evaṃdhātaau vyavasthitāḥ || iti |

ata eva śūnyatākaruṇābhinnaṃ mahāsukhajñānavajaṃ tādātmyena dharatīti vajradharaḥ | vajramabhedyajñānamasatsaṃkalpāsthita(taṃ) skandhakleśamṛtyuvighnamāraairabhedyatvāt | ata
evoktam—
māraḥ svacittaṃ na paro’sti mārastathāgataṃ na(tatvena) tathāgatānām |
mārasya bhaṃgo vijayo muniśca (neśca) cittena cittapratibodha eva ||
tat sūcakaṃ pañcaśū(sū)cikavaṇaṃ bahiḥ tadīyastattva (tadantastattva) sūcanārtha dharatīti vā vajradharaḥ | matvarthaḥ śrīradvayaṃ jñānaṃ tadanubhavarūpatvena tādātmyena nityayogāt śrīmān, śrutamiti mayārthaḥ | taduktam—
evaṃ vajrābjamadhyāntavajī tiṣṭhati bindudhak |
sa evā vyatibhinnātmā mayeti prakaṭīkṛtam ||
sukhamiti (śrutamiti) śrutaṃ jñātaṃ mayā cātmeva cātmaneti | śrīmavādibuddhe coktam—
[ed. p. 3] tantre ’pyevaṃ mayā yat śrutamiti vacanaṃ tanmayā jñātameva
vajī candradravādyaḥ śirasi gala hṛdabje ca nābhaau ca guhye |
vajrastrīṇāṃ bhage tatparakamalagate bindumokṣatrayeṇa
buddhakṣetre praviṣṭaḥ tadiha sa bhagavān yogibhirveditavyaḥ || iti |

atra ca vajradharoṃ nānyo’pi tu mahāvajradhara eva | caturaśītidharmaskandhasahasrāṇā manyātamasya sakṛdudgrahaṇārthasāmarthyāttaduktam—
vyākhyātāhamahaṃ dharmaḥ śrotāhaṃ svagaṇaairyutaḥ |
sādhyo 'haṃ jagataḥśāstā loko 'haṃ laaukiko’pyaham ||
sahajānandasvabhāvo 'haṃ paramāntaṃ viramādikam | bhāvo 'haṃ naaiva bhāvo 'haṃ buddho’haṃ vastubodhanāt ||
(he. ta. 2.2.39-40)
māṃ na jānanti ye mūḍhāḥ kaausīdhopahatāśca ye|
vihare 'haṃ sukhāvatyāṃ sadvajrayoṣito bhage ||
(he. ta. 2.2.37-38)
ādikarmikasattvāvataraṇāya tu buddhanāṭakamadhyeṣakasaṅgītikārādikamiti | hariharahiraṇyagarbhādibhirdamayitumaśakyatvāt durdāntāḥ, ṣaṭśatādhikakaviṃśatisahasraśvāsa praśvāsaḥ, teṣāṃ paramākṣarajñānamahārasābiddhatayā tadrūpopaghātād duntidamakaḥ, para utkṛṣṭaḥ | ayameva prāṇinaśca tvayā ghātyā (he. ta. 3.3.29, gu. sa. 16-59) ityasyārthaḥ | ata evoktam
vīrakramo na bāhye dehe prāṇakṣayo hyasāvukta(ḥ) | iti |

uktañca vimalaprabhāyām | punaruktañcādibuddhaiḥ—
yogī prāṇātipātaṃ dinaniśikurute prāṇanāśaḥ sa uktaḥ |

sarvajñapadalābhāya na bāhye prāṇātipātaḥ | bāhye yaḥ prāṇātipāta ukto durdāntadamanāya sa teṣāṃ yogabalenākṛṣṭaḥ | punastasminneva kāye praveśanīyo yogineti [ed. p. 4] durdāntadamako bhavati, na tu durdāntāntaka iti | trayo lokāstrilokama, kāyavāk cittam, tadvijetuṃ vaśayituṃ jñānena sahaaikalolīkatuśīlaṃ yasya sa tathā | uktañca—
caturbuddhāsanāsīnaṃ vacapadmasusaṃsthitam |
anubhūtaṃ krameṇaaiva caturānandalakṣaṇam ||
evaṃ vyāpyavyāpakasambandhena kāyavāñcittajñānabhedena caturvidhaṃ paramākṣarasukham | uktañca—
bhage liṅga pratiṣṭhāpya bodhicittaṃ na cotsṛjet |
bhāvayed buddhabimbaṃ tu dhātukamaśeṣataḥ || iti |
vigataravaścaladrapaśvāsavāto yasya sa tathā | guhyaṃ śrāvakapratyekabuddhayānayoruttaraṃ vajrayānaṃ kāyavākcittajñānekalolībhāvo vā tatra mahāsukharūpatayā rājata iti guhyarāṭ | pañcaguhyarājatvād vā guhyarāṭ | uktañcādibuddhena—
yogī prāṇātipātaṃ dinaniśi kurute prāṇanāśaḥ sa uktaḥ
yaḥ śabdo vaktrahīnaḥ prabhavati hṛdaye’saau mṛṣāvāda eva |
sarvajñajñānabhūmegrahaṇamapi ca yad yoginaḥ steyamuktaṃ
saukhyaṃ bindu(dva)prapāte bhavati ca paradārasya sevā'virāgāt ||
prāṇāyāmānalena dravamapi śaśinaḥ pānakaṃ madyapānam
uṣṇīṣe 'ṅguṣṭhaparvād vrajati tithivaśāt pūrṇimāntaṃ svacittam |
uṣṇīṣādagulīṣu vrajati punaridaṃ kṛṣṇapakṣāvasāne
sā caryā yogino vaai pratidinasamaye tviṣṭasiddhipradā yā |

prāṇinaśca tvayā ghātyā vaktavyañca mṛṣāvacaḥ |
adattañca tvayā grāhyaṃ sevanaṃ parayoṣitaḥ ||

vibuddha iti | vibuddhapuṇḍarīka sphuṭībhūtamākāśadhātustenākṣi sahajajñāna masya sa tathā | vibuddhaṃ vikasitaṃ puṇḍarīka śukrapūrṇatvāt śvetaguṇayuktaṃ padmavajraśikhare tatrākṣaṃ pañcacakṣarubhavaṃ jñānaṃ yasya vā sa tathā | vibuddhapuṇḍarīkaṃ yogisattvānāṃ hṛdayaṃ tatra akṣarasukhajñānaṃ tādātmyena yasya vā sa tathā | vajrātiśayagharṣaṇena protphullaṃ vikasitaṃ kamalaṃ raja śukrayogena sitaraktaguṇayutaṃ strīpadmaṃ tatrānanaṃ jñānaṃ yasya sa tathā | evaṃ vyāpyavyāpakasambandhena kāyavāñcittajñānasvarūpacaturbindu paramākṣarasukhajñānatā pratipāditā | evaṃ vidhaṃ nirvikalpa(paṃ) paramākṣarasukhajñānaṃ vajravaraṃ svakareṇātmīyādvaaitajñāna raśmisphuraṇena jagadarthahetutayā prollālayan athavā ṣaḍaṅgayogenātmanimittena vivṛtyā praticakramullāsayan uttolayan svakareṇa nirvikalpātmavedyakaruṇā śūnyatā’dvaaitabodhena uṣṇoṣacakramāsādayannityarthaḥ | muhurmuhuḥ mithyāsaṃkalpasya kṣaṇamayasambhavāt || 2||
bhṛkuṭītaraṅga pramukhaairanantaairvajrapāṇibhiḥ |
durdāntadamakaairvīraairvīrabībhatsarūpibhiḥ || 3 ||
bhṛkuṭīti | bhṛkuṭī lalāṭasaṃkocaḥ, tena ūrṇācakre bodhicittāgamanaṃ sūcitam, tasya śukrasya taraṅgo laharī sahajābhilāṣataralatvāt | tatra viṣaye prakṛṣṭaṃ mukhamupāyaḥ ṣaḍaṅgayogalakṣaṇo yeṣāṃ te yathā | ata evānantaairantadvayarahitaḥ avikalpasukhaairityarthaḥ | vajrāṇi ādarśādipañcajñānāni pāṇī(ṇā)vivāyatatvāttādātmyena yeṣāṃ tais tathāgatair vajrapāṇibhiḥ | dharmadhātvātmakatvena sarvavikalpānāṃ mahāsurkharūpatāpādanāt durdānta damakaairata eva vīrairmahāsukhasamādhisthaaiḥ| vīramacyutabodhicittatvāt| bībhatsamākā śākṣayatvena rūpaṃ mahārāgasvarūpaṃ tādātmyena tad yogād vīrabībhatsarūpibhiḥ || 3 ||

prajñopāyamahākaruṇājagadarthakaraiḥ paraiḥ || 4 ||
ullālayeti | ullālayanirākāśe, bhavyasattvānāṃ mahāsukhaṃ pūrvoktaṃ vajravaramullāsayadbhiḥ| svamananyavedyaṃ kaṃ sukhaṃ rānti anubhavantīti svakaraiḥ| mahāsukhaśukrasya vajrakamalakaṇikāgatatvena prasphurantī vikasantī vajrasya mahāsukhasthānasya koṭiragrabhāgo yeṣāṃ taaiḥ | prajñā sarvadharmāvikalparūpā śūnyatā | uktañcādibuddhe—
tyaktvemāṃ karmamudrāṃ sakaluṣahṛdayāṃ kalpitāṃ jñānamudrāṃ
samyaksaṃbodhihetojinavarajananīṃ bhāvayed divyamudrām |
nirlepāṃ nirvikārāṃ khasamahatatamāṃ vyāpinī yogagamyāṃ
kūṭasthāṃ jñānatejāṃ bhavakaluṣaharāmādibuddhānuviddhām || iti |

saiva upāyastena mādhitā mahākaruṇā mahāsukharūpi[ṇī] bodhicittatayā. spharaṇalakṣaṇaṃ jagadathaṃ kurvatīti | taiḥ prajñopāyamahākaruṇājagadarthakaraiḥ lokāti krāntatvāt paraaiḥ || 4 ||
hṛṣṭatuṣṭā śayarmuditaiḥ krodhavigraharūpibhiḥ |
buddhakṛtyakarairnāthaiḥ sārddhaṃ praṇatavigrahaiḥ || 5 ||
hṛṣṭati | hṛṣṭastādātmikasukhena, tuṣṭa ānubanvikasukhena, āśayaḥ kāyavākacittalolībhūtaḥ sahajakāyo yeṣāṃ taaihṛṣṭatuṣṭāśayaḥ, ata eva sattvārthakaraṇāya muditaḥ | krodhena sarvadharmaśūnyatāsphuṭībhāvena, krodhe viramaparyante vā 'krodho viramaparyantaḥ' iti pīṭhavivṛtiḥ | vigato graha aśakti ( āsakti )stapibhistatsvarūpibhiḥ | ata eva buddhakṛtyakaraaiḥ | nirvikalpasukha spharaṇād eva sattvārthakaraṇasāmarthyāt nāthairyogīśvaraaiḥ sevyaaiḥ sāddhamekībhūtaaiḥ praṇatavignahaaiḥ mahāsukhanimagnakāyavāñcittaaiḥ || 5 ||
praṇamya nāthaṃ saṃbuddhaṃ bhagavantaṃ tathāgatam |
kṛtāñjalipuṭo bhūtvā idamāha sthito’grataḥ || 6 ||

praṇamyeti | praṇamyāmukhīkṛtya, nāthamacyutabodhicittam, sambuddhaṃ prabuddhasukham, bhago’tra lalāṭacakramadhyād guhyavaraṭakagataau jñānabindustaduditaprabhāsvarajñānaṃ bhagavantaṃ tathā sahajasukhākāreṇoṣṇīṣakarṇikāto vajramaṇivasṭake āgataṃ vivṛtyā maṇivaraṭakāt punaruṣṇīṣacakragataṃ tathāgatam | uktañca—
āgataśca gataścaaiva vyāpya viśvavyavasthitaḥ |
gatyāgatinirodhāśca(cca) tathāgata iti smṛtaḥ || iti |
kṛtāñjalipuṭo bhūtvā’bahirgato bhūtvā, prāṇāyāmabalena saṃghaṭuṃ kṛtvā vā, idaṃ svasaṃvedyaṃ sukhamāhānubhūtavān | agrataḥ sthitaḥ samādhyānugamāt maṇivaraṭakāntaḥsthitaḥ || 6 ||
maddhitāya mamārthāya anukampāya me vibho |
māyājālābhisaṃbodhe yathālābhī bhavāmyaham || 7 ||
maddhiteti | maddhitāya vajramaṇivaraṭakānubhūtasukhānubandhāya | ata eva mamāryāya sarvasattvānāṃ tatsukhotpādāya | tathatārūpeṇābhinnatvena tatsukhotpādanameva matprayojanam | manukampāya svapareṣāmasatsaṃkalpaprakṣālanāya| mahāsukhasvabhāvena traailokyavyāpakatvena vibho iti sambodhanam | ṣoḍaśakāyānandādibindunirodhena prādeśikaskandhadhātvāyatanānāṃ nirodhād māyājālavanniḥsaṃgaṃ sukhatvena traailokyasyā bhisambodhiḥ sākṣātkārastasyāḥ lābhī san tādātmyena | ata evāha-akāra-haṃkārasaṃpuṭatvena yuganaddharūpo bhavāmi yathā, tathā nāmasaṅgīti prakāśayatu sambuddha iti sambandhaḥ || 7 ||
ajñānapaṅkamagnānāṃ kleśavyākulacetasām |
hitāya sarvasattvānāmanuttaraphalāptaye || 8 ||
ajñāneti | ajñānamavidyāvāsanā tadeva paṅkaḥ dustaratvena tanmagnānāṃ hitāya mahāsukhollāsāya | kleśa[:] cyutiduḥkhama, tena vyākulacetasāṃ ṣaḍgatibhramaṇaśīlānāmanuttaramavācyaṃ prakṛtiprabhāsvaraṃ mahāsukhaṃ phalaṃ tatprāptaye prakāśayatviti vakṣyamāṇena sambandhaḥ || 8 ||
prakāśayatu saṃbuddho bhagavān śāstā jagadguruḥ |
mahāsamayatattvajña indriyāśayavitparaḥ || 9 ||
prakāśayasviti | sahajasukhollāsena sarvadharmāvabodhāt sambuddhaḥ | bhagaḥ sarvākāra nirākāraśūnyatā, tadyogād bhagavān | ṣaṭśatādhikakaviṃśatisahasraśvāsānāṃ mahāsukhā[ed. p. 8]bhinnatvena śāsanāt śāstā | ata eva jagatāṃ śvāsavātānāṃ kāyavāñcittānāṃ vā gurustattvopadeṣṭā | mahāsamayacaturthabindustasya tadeva vā tattvaṃ sukhajñānaṃ tattādātmyena jānātoti tathā | indriyāṇāṃ cakṣurādīnāṃ grāhyagrāhakabhāvāpannānāmāśayaṃ sukhaṃ prakṛtimabhedena vettītīndriyāśayavit, ateva paro lokātikrāntaḥ || 6 ||
bhagavan jñānakāyasya mahoṣṇīṣasya goṣpateḥ |
mañjuśrījñānasattvasya jñānamūrteḥ svayambhuvaḥ || 10 ||
bhagavanniti | bhagavanniti sambodhanaṃ jñānakāyaścaturthakāyaḥ ṣoḍaśāābindudhṛk | tasyāpatitabodhicittabindutvena vivṛtyordhvagamanenoṣṇīṣasthānagatatvāt mahoṣṇoṣasya, gīrdhvaniḥ ṣaḍakṣarātmaka ekāra ādhārātmakaḥ tasya patiḥ ṣaṣṭho vaṃkāro vajradharaḥ ādheya svabhāvaḥ| tathā ca vakṣyati—

ekāravaṃkārarūpa ityarthaḥ | mañjuśrījñānasattvasyeti dharmatāsaṃketena mañjuśabdena vajaśikhare protphullavarakamalaṃ tadevādvayajñānāśrayatvāt śrīstadutpannamadvayajñānaṃ mañju śrījñānasattvasya | sarvasattvānāṃ hṛdayavihāritvāt jñānamūrteḥ | svayamātmanā hetunira pekṣatvād bhavati, sākṣād bhavatīti svayambhuvaḥ| tadvijñānaṃ na kenacikriyate na kenāpi dīyate sarvākārāntargataṃ sarvarūpamakṛtrimatayā svasaṃvedyam | taduktam—
na sahajaṃ kenaciddattaṃ na kasmāccāgataṃ yataḥ |

mahābhavādrīti | mahān durucchedatvāt, bhavo rāgādikleśaḥ, sa evādiḥ viṃśati śikharājñānatvāt tasya samabhetā mahārāgānurāgeṇa samyagaviparītajñānalābhāt mahāsukhasthānaprāpta ityarthaḥ | āloka-ālokābhāsa-ālokopalabdhikalakṣaṇaṃ nirābhāsalakṣaṇaṃ mahāvajraṃ dharatīti sa tathā| ata eva ghano niviḍasukhatvāt| krūro (rā) durdamatvāt prāṇāpānavāyavaḥ, tadatikramād mahākrūraḥ | paramākṣaramahārasaviddhasarvaśvāsatvād viṣayendriyādīnāṃ saṃsāraduḥkhadāyakatvarūpasaṃhāreṇa mahāsukhaaikalayānmahāraaudraḥ| mahābhayaḥ śāśvatocchedayoranyatarā(ra)pātasya bhayaṃ mahābhayaṃ taṃ karotīti sa tathoktaḥ mahābhayabhayaṅkaraḥ, apratiṣṭhitanirvāṇa ityarthaḥ || 13 ||

mahāvaairocaneti | mahāvaairocanaśabdena prakṛtiprabhāsvaraṃ jñānaṃ 'tanmahaccāsya sa tathoktaḥ, jñānamayakāya ityarthaḥ | mahāsukhaprabodhād buddhaḥ | avācyasukhātmakatvena kāyavāñcittamaaunayogāt mahāmaaunī| ata eva mahāsukhasvarūpasya yathāvad mananānmahāmuniḥ | 'manasastrāṇabhūtatvāt mantraṃ sukhamudāhṛtam', iti mahāmantraṃ mahāsukhajñānameva | noyate prāpyate iti nayastasmādudbhūto mahāmantranayodbhūtaḥ| mahāsukhodbhūtatve’pi mahāsukhasvabhāva iti pratipādanātha mahāmantranayātmaka ityuktam | ata evoktam -

daśabhūmīti | daśānāṃ bhūmīnāṃ pramuditādīnāṃ caturviśatipīṭhopapīṭhādilakṣaṇānāmīśvaraḥ pradhānaṃ sahajajñānākāreṇa vyāpakatvāt | asthāyamarthaḥ—
dānātpramudito yogī śīlavān vimalo bhavet |
kṣāntyā prabhākarī voryādarciṣmān puṇyavānasaau ||
dhyānādabhimukhākṛṣṭaḥ prajñayā tu sudurjayaḥ |
dūraṅgamo mahopāyo balavānacalo bhavet ||
sādhuḥ [śca] praṇidhānena dharmameghastu jñānavān |
jinastathāgataḥ pratyātmavedya ekādaśo bhavet || iti |

nāthaḥ samādhyanugamāt | sakalasattvānāmanābhogenādhiṣṭhānāt, daśabhūmipratiṣṭhita iti | daśabhumayo daśadhātūnām upasaṃhāraḥ| te ca vāyuścittaṃ bodhicittaṃ raktamajjā'sthoni snāyuḥ māṃsam indriyāṇi carma ceti | teṣāmupasaṃhāraḥ samarasībhāvaḥ | tatra pratiṣṭhito yāvadākāśam apratiṣṭhitanirvāṇarūpeṇa | atra gurūpadeśa( śo )hetuḥ, tamāha—daśajñānaviśuddhātmeti | dhūmādidaśa nimittajñānāni | uktañca śrīmādibuddhe

sa ca vedanāskandho ratnapāṇiḥ | sa eva munīndraḥ | sahajacaṇḍālīdyotanaṃ prati sāmarthyalābhāt | daśabalāni paramākṣarasādhanasāmarthyāt | pūrvoktakāmāvasthālakṣaṇāni yasya sa daśabalaḥ | sahajacaṇḍālyālokena trilokavyāpanādvibhuḥ| ata evāśeṣāṇāṃ viśveṣāṃ skandhadhātvāyatanādīnāmathaṃ sahajasukhaprakāśanalakṣaṇaṃ karotīti aśeṣaviśvārthakaraḥ| anenānusmṛtyaṅgamuktam | uktañca—
ḍombyāñcānusmṛtiḥ syādapi kamaladharaḥ|| iti | (KāTa 4.115)
saṃjñāskandho daśavidha iti | sā cānusmṛtiḥ ḍombyāṃ madhyanācyā daśakāmāvasthā bhedata iti | ata evoktam—

daśapūrvoktavāyunirodhalakṣaṇā mākārā yasya sa tathā | anena samādhyaṅgamuktam | tathā coktam—

nirodhavajagate citte nimittodgraho jāyate |

anādīti | anādir ādyanutpanno niṣprapañcaḥ sarvāsatsaṃkalpavarjitaḥ ātmā nirālambasvabhāvamacittacittaṃ yasya sa anādiniṣprapañcātmā | viśvabimbadarśanamiti yāvat | etena ādāveva nirvikalpāmukhīkaraṇa iti heturuktaḥ | mahārāgānalena sakalaskandhadhātvāyata'nādīnāṃ nirāvaraṇīkaraṇāt śuddhātmā | etena madhye’pi nirvikalpaḥ kathitaḥ | mahāsukhaśukraliptatayā tathatātmātmakaḥ | maṇiśikharācyutaḥ śukrabindusvabhāvaḥ | anena paryante’pi nirvikalpatoktā | bhūtamaviparītasukhaṃ vadituṃ sākṣātkattu tadrūpeṇa prakāśayituṃ śīlamasya sa tathā| aviparītadhūmādinimittadvāreṇa mahāsukha miti | yathā vadati sattvānāṃ tathaaivātmanā karaṇāt yathāvādī tathākārī | pañcānantaryabuddhavajagharādīnāṃ mahāsukharūpeṇaaiva prakāśanārthaṃ vidyate ananyavāk anubhavakhyāpanāt yasya sa tathā | etena idamādaau kalyāṇaṃ madhye kalyāṇaṃ paryavasāne kalyāṇaṃ nānyathetyuktaṃ bhavati | nanu yathā bālajanaairvikalpitaṃ ādaau vikalpabhāvanā, madhye dvīndriyaja़sukhabhāvanā, ante nirvikalpabhāvanā mahāsukhabhāvaneti? nanu—
hetunā sadṛśaṃ sarvaṃ phalaṃ sarvatra dṛśyate |
na hi kodravabījebhyaḥ śālyaṅ kurasamudbhavaḥ ||
vikalpabījasambhūtaṃ savikalpaṃ phalaṃ bhavet |
nirvikalpakasaṃbhūtaṃ nirvikalpaphalaṃ bhavet ||

nirvikalpo’kṣayo dhātudhama dhātuḥ paro’vyayaḥ || 15 ||
siddhāryeti | sarvadharmāṇāṃ jñānākāreṇa pratibhāsakatvāt siddho niṣpanno’rthaḥ paramārthoṃ yato yasya vā sa tathā | buddhavajradharasampāditabhāvanābhyāsāt siddho nityaṃ svamukhīkṛtya, saṃkalpo grāhyagrāhakavikalpo yasya sa tathā| ata eva sarvasaṃkalpaairātmātmīyagrahābhiniveśaaijitastyaktaḥ| abhiṣekasamayācārādikāle nirvikalpena cittena sarvakaraṇānirvikalpaḥ | prabhāsvaraniṣṭhatayā kṣayābhāvādakṣayaḥ | sarvadharmaprakṛtikatvāddhātuḥ| kāyatrayātmaka mahāsukhaaikarūpatvāddharmadhātuḥ | acyutatvādavyayaḥ| svayambhūsahajākhyatvāt paraḥ| etena nirvikalpakabhāvaneva mahāmudrāsiddhiheturityuktaṃ bhavati || 15 ||

janaketi | caturaśītisahasracittakṣaṇānāṃ buddhānāṃ mahāsukharūpatayā jananājanakaḥ sahajānandaḥ | vajraratnāntargatasukhacittarāśirityarthaḥ | uktaprabhāsvaracittaprabodhād buddhaḥ, tasya putra ātmajaḥ sahajaḥ paridṛṣṭatvenātyantapramāśrayatvāt nirvikalpapratibedhaniryāta ityarthaḥ | ānandatrayātikrāntatvātparaḥ sahaja ityarthaḥ | varaḥ svānubhavatvāt | prajñā viśvabimbaḥ, saaiva utpattisthānaṃ tatra udbhavatīti prajñābhavodabhavaḥ | mahāsukhākārasambhogakāyo yoniḥ, sarvasattvānāmutpattisthānatvāt | jñānakāyatvāt dharmayoniḥ | bhavasyāntamavasānamānandatrayāvasānaṃ sahajānandaṃ karotīti bhavāntakṛta || 19 ||
ghanaikasāro vajrātmā sadyojāto jagatpatiḥ |
gaganodbhavaḥ svayambhūḥ prajñājñānānalo mahān || 20 ||
ghanaikasāreti | dhano niviḍatvādekaścādvitīyatvāt sāraśca sahajasukhatvena sarvakalpanākleśamalābhāvāt | jñānakāyatvenābhedyatvād vajrātmā | atyantaśraddhāvatāṃ hṛdi gurūpadeśa kṣaṇamātreṇa buddharūpeṇa jātatvāt sadyojātaḥ | taduktam—"tattu krameṇa karuṇādiguṇāvadātaśraddhāvatāṃ hṛdi padaṃ svayamādadhāti" iti | jagatpatiḥ sarvajanānāṃ mātāpitṛsthānīyaṃ jagatsvāmī vajrasattvasvabhāva ityarthaḥ |
gaganeti | idānīṃ svādhiṣṭhānamāha—tacca saṃvṛteḥ śūnyadarśanaṃ pratyāhāracihnaṃ nāma meghadhūmādivat pratibhāsaḥ, sa ca prathamaṃ dṛśyate pradīpaparyantaṃ, tacca nimittacatuṣṭayaṃ samājāvāvuktam | jvālādibinduparyantaṃ ṣaḍanyanimittam, atra gāthādvayenoktam | pūrvokta nirabhragaganāt [ bhavati ] pratibhāso yasya sa gaganodbhavaḥ | svayaṃbhūḥ sarvavikalparahitacittatvāditi | ataḥ prajñājñānānala iti jvālāpratibhāsaḥ | vaairocano mahādīpti[ed. p. 46]riti candrapratibhāsaḥ, sa eva jñānajyotirvirocana iti | jagatpradīpa iti sūrya pratibhāsaḥ | jñānolko rāhupratibhāsaḥ | mahātejāḥ prabhāsvara iti vidyutpratibhāsaḥ | vidyārājo’gramantreśa iti bindupratibhāsaḥ, sa ca nīlavarṇacandramaṇḍalākāraḥ | mantrarājo mahārthakṛditi sarvākāradhātukabhāvapratibhāso māyāsvapna pratisenātulyo dṛśyate yogineti | vyutpattistu gaganaṃ buddhabimbaḥ tatrodbhavatīti tathoktaḥ| [svayambhūḥ] svayamātmanā bhavatīti tathā, prajñājñānaṃ sahajacaṇḍālījñānaṃ, tadevānala ivānalo yasya sa tathā | sarvavyāpanāt mahān || 20 ||
vairocano mahādīptiānajyotirvirocanaḥ |
jagatpradīpo jñānolko mahātejāḥ prabhāsvaraḥ || 21 ||
[vaairocaneti] prakṛtiprabhāsvarajñānaṃ virocanaḥ, sa eva vaairocanaḥ | mahatī dīptirasyeti mahādīptiḥ | jñānameva jyotiryasyeti jñānajyotiḥ | virocate dīpyata iti virocanaḥ | pradīpavajjagadālokakārakatvāt jagatpradīpaḥ | jñānamevolkā yasya sa jñānolkaḥ | mahātejo’vabhāso yasya sa mahātejāḥ | ata eva prabhāsvaraḥ || 21 ||
vidyārājo’namantreśo mantrarājo mahāyaṃkṛt |
mahoṣṇīṣodbhūtoṣṇīṣo viśvadarśī viyatpatiḥ || 22 ||
[vidyārājeti] vidyāyā mahāmudrāyā rājā svāmī vidyārājaḥ | mahāsukhapradhānatvāt agramantreśaḥ | pāramārthikamantrarājatvān mahāmantrarājaḥ | mahāsukharūpeṇa trailokyaspharaṇād mahārthakṛt | mahaścā(mahāṃścā)saau uṣṇīṣaśceti mahoṣṇīṣaḥ, sarvatathāgatabinduḥ | uṣṇīṣākāreṇa gagane rāśībhūya vyavasthitatvāt | uṣṇīṣodbhūtojñānabindumahoṣṇīṣodabhūtoṣṇīṣaḥ ūrṇāmārgeṇa tejorāśimukhena yo ’saau bhagavān sarvatathāgatajñānasattvaḥ sarvatathāgatoṣṇīṣebhyo niścarya vajrākāro mūrdhni sthitaḥ | uktañca—
yenākṛṣya manobhavaḥ svakuliśānnīto lalāṭaṃ svakaṃ
prajñājñānabalena śākyamuninā vajraṃ mahoṣṇīṣagam |
sālambā nanu śūnyatā sakaruṇā nālambanī yasya vai
tasmai devanarāsurāhigurave viśvaikaśāstre namaḥ || iti | (ViPra pañcamapaṭalasya maṅgalācaraṇam)
viśvaṃ nānāprakāraṃ svādhiṣṭhānasamādhinā ekakṣaṇābhisambodhiṃ darśayituṃ śīlaṃ yasya sa viśvadarśī | viyataḥ śūnyatāyāḥ patiḥ viyatpatiḥ, sukha( śūnya )patirityarthaḥ |
uktañca—
nirābhāsasya cittasya sthitirākāśalakṣaṇā |
ākāśabhāvanaaivaaiṣā śūnyatābhāvanā matā || iti || 22 ||
sarvabuddhātmabhāvāgryo jagadānandalocanaḥ |
