Per the below feedback from the mailing list, I think it's important to have a clear workflow for editing or deleting content after submission. Who can do that and when is certainly open to discussion, but it clearly needs to be possible.
Undesired content is displaying on the screen and there's no way to edit/delete it using the web interface. Clicking on the 3 Active button returns no action. In the screen snap below you can see the conflicting report. I guess there is a way to get to the line in the database, but I don't have the levers or the knowledge to do that. Do you suggest I delete and re-create the feed?
Thanks
Sandy
Occasions when a piece of content should be editable:
An admin is viewing the content
The owner is viewing it and it hasn't been moderated by anyone yet

As we discussed in #828, I think this is really what we want to keep in our sights. While the workflow for moderation works decently well with non-privileged users submitting to moderators' feeds, we just don't accommodate the use case of people running their own small installations where they are the submitter and admin, or cases where users wish to edit content they've submitted -- and we should.
