9.0.x. Database Character Set is no longer showing current char set #10276

In 8.5.x, Dashboard->System & Settings -> Environment -> Database Character Set page used to select currently used character set.

However, a Japanese member pointed out that it's no longer selecting the character set (I've also checked with 9.0.1 & 9.0.2)

It says "Nothing selected"

It's a bit troublesome that it's no longer showing the current character set 😅
