Remember state in file manager

Description

When I pick files from the file manager, it always defaults to the same File Manager option.
Frequently what I'm actually doing is going through a lot of pages and picking the same or similar file.
It'd be super awesome if the file manager remembered where you were.
The time people spend clicking Recent Files to get the asset that needs to be set across X pages has to add up.
