Currently when selecting the "Ordering" in the Edit Conversation block options, you are given the options of "Earliest First", "Most Recent First", and "Highest Rated". However, when you turn on the "Display Ordering Options in Page" on, you are given the options of "Oldest", "Recent", and "Popularity". I think that these should both be made the same for consistency's sake.
I also notice that there isn't really anything on the Conversations block from the commenter's perspective that indicates what that selector is for (I.E. nothing indicating that those are sorting options). While it's probably pretty obvious once you see the options or try one what they do, something like a "Sort by:" label could be helpful I think.
