Like I said on the mail list, I'm hesitant to import this into the main solution because of the extra NuGet dependencies.

Can you make a standalone solution for this and put it in Examples/Standalone/SerilogLog, and also put a README in it to describe it?

Yes, I would do as you recommended. How should I reference QF from that standalone solution, as binary DLL?

Don't commit any binary. Maybe just point it at the main QF/n solution's output, and throw a note in the README that the user can change it if they need to.
