Copy/paste a content element from articles to news (as a user)

Hi there.
We need the copy/paste function in the BE very often. So our clients do.
Now - there is a problem when you wants to copy a content element from a standard article into a news article.
Just an administrator can copy/paste an content element.
If you are loggged in as a user it always comes an error if you want to copy/paste from articles to news.
We tried it with a user with all rights in his user role (all checkboxes are checked). We tried it on our installation on 3.x and 4.x - and we tried it on Contao Demo at this moment. It doesn't work at all.
We think it's a Contao mistake. Any ideas to solve this?

It's a known limitation of Contao that it does not work. The PR @fritzmg linked won't fix it.
