This resource shows ALL commits across ALL forks. So a single commit may show up hundreds of times - and there may be hundreds of commits per repository.
However, there might be a way to report the topmost repos for which a commit is present (omit the leaf-level forks) and then aggregate the most recent 10 commits or some such.
