Not going to rehash everything here, but @AdamWill started a thread on the devel list re. FCOS integration with the rest of Fedora:

https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org/thread/EVX6OCY5HKW7HYS6VO5VFNW4C3ZNVOWS/

TL;DR:

  • we need to better document the release process
  • we need to raise visibility about this release process and how it differs from the rest of Fedora
  • we need to have a clear vision and marketing strategy around FCOS as a primary Fedora edition

This is a tracker issue to make sure that (1) we discuss this in the next community meeting, (2) we engage with the right teams to resolve the higher-level concerns, and (3) actionable items the FCOS team needs to tackle are tracked somewhere.
