As far as I can tell, its downloading the videos (the ones downloaded in first run) again on the second run. I downloaded the course yesterday and then I was showing a friend this utility, it started downloaded ( heavy download internet traffic ) the videos again. I really like it, but this is kind of a bummer :( |
Actually, I think I'll need to look at code to be sure, its skipped many but then downloaded some which I'm sure were there yesterday. Here is the output log |
Are you sure that all of those files were already there? Kind of strange for it to skip some but not all which were already downloaded. What happens if you let it run to completion (that is, it downloads eveything available), and then run the command again? It should skip everything in this case. This should be easy to verify. |

I might be using the script multiple times on the same course, for instance when a new week of videos are put online. Will the script skip already downloaded sections or will it try to download from the start?
Script worked great to get me proglang videos :) Thanks a ton.
