Hi,

Similarly to tasks synchronization, it would be really cool to have notes synchronization.

This looks to be done using VJOURNAL caldav entries by some people (although I am not sure this is the best way to do it). Other seems to use IMAP for this purpose (which seems to be quite well supported by clients out there). OwnCloud seems to be using his own synchronization mechanism and has quite a bunch of compatible apps out there, both on mobile and desktop.

Thanks!

What is your use case? Would you like to sync your notes with your phone or with some desktop application?

Yes, in a kind of Evernote replacement. Owncloud has this feature and I think it would be a good addition to cozy.

Syncing with mobile phone might be done easily with a dedicated app (à la cozy mobile, not sure if it is already implemented), but syncing with desktop is more complicated. That's why I was looking for a standard mechanism to handle this sync.

As a workaround, maybe could you try to install remoteStorage in your Cozy and use applications that can connect to this backend, like Litewrite.

Indeed, that seems to be a good workaround solution. Thanks

It is pretty convenient to synchronize tasks with Thunderbird and Tasks on Android.
Until recently, I used Baikal who had this feature ... very usefull.

Just implement this feature may be interesting.
