Carrots | Celery |
Red Chilli peppers | Onions |
1 tsp Garlic | Salt & Pepper to taste |
Sugar (up to 1 Tbsp) |
Foley food mill instructions
- Quarter tomatoes
- Dice all other Veggies
- Cook all veggies until tender
- Put through foley food mill
- Season to taste
- Cook down until desired thickness
Non foley food mill instructions
- Blanch tomatoes
- Let tomatoes cool a bit
- Peel tomatoes
- Dice all veggies
- Sautee veggies in a pan until tender
- Put peeled tomatoes in large pot, cook on low heat
- Simmer tomatoes until they are soft and water is released
- Add sauteed veggies to tomatoes
- Add seasonings to taste (including sugar)
- Slow cook on low until desired thickness
