EJSON support

I would like to attach a createdAt attribute of type momentjs for a object saved in a mongo collection, and then retrieve this object as is.
The way to achieve this is to create a EJSON type (cf EventedMind).

Are you sure EJSON support allows you to store objects directly into MongoDB? I thought it is just so that you can pass those objects between client and server directly.
