UG quiz undo/redo is vague (does not work after switching tabs, does not clarify it's only for quiz) #7

Expected Behavior

Application deletes undo/redo history after changing tabs.

Current Behavior

Undo/redo history is cleared after changing tabs.

Other notes

Undo redo is not clearly specified that it is only for the quiz tab (only specifies the commands which are shared across tabs). Can cause confusion for users.

Environment

Windows 10 64 bit
java version "1.8.0_191"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_191-b12)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.191-b12, mixed mode)

Team's Response

Problem: Undo redo is not clearly specified that it is only for the quiz tab (only specifies the commands which are shared across tabs). Can cause confusion for users.

Response: In some sense you maybe right if it may cause confusion however, the undo/redo command is only stated under the quiz feature. Moreover, I stated that "Action that is undoable include: add, edit, delete, clear, comment" under this section.

Anyway, thanks for your feedback ^^

❓ Issue response

Team chose [response.NotInScope]

  • I disagree

Reason for disagreement: The user guide for undo:

Using the example of add, this command can be found the UG for other tabs:

For Grades Tracker:

I don't think it would hurt if the UG was more specific, but yes, the fact that the undo/redo is only in the quiz section does lead one to infer that it could possibly only be available in the quiz section.

Anyway, thanks for your feedback ^^

Best of luck for the exams :)
