This would be useful for anyone using FDG. There are multiple things that can be done, I've listed them in the order of importance as I perceive them:

  1. Make the mook generator recognize ctrl as a damage type for attacks
  2. Make the damage roll system, OTFs and the ADD recognize ctrl as a damage type so that when control damage is rolled, it can be dragged onto an actor to initiate the ADD
  3. Issue [Feature Request] Allow ADD to apply damage to resource trackers #385 would already allow for control damage to be applied to the control points tracker on an actor through the ADD. It would be nice for control to be listed as a damage type in the ADD, but I don't think this is crucial for the initial implementation as it could treated as the already implemented generic damage (dmg)

I have suggested ctrl as the damage type abbreviation because that's how Douglas Cole publishes it in his books.

To add any Resource as damage, use the new "Use as Damage Type" checkbox in the Resource tracker template:

After doing that, you can use the Resource alias as a damage type:
