I'm planning to use this on a Linux gaming system (Bazzite or ChimeraOS) running in distrobox. When I don't play games it would be really great to use my GPU's processing power on my macbook. Even outside of my network through VPN.
However it's rather optimized to Nvidia, but Linux gaming systems prefer AMD because of Gamescope. My case could be edge but Linux tends to prefer AMD and you already have HIP support in the desktop version. Is that possible to support HIP as well for this one?

In general this should be possible, but from my understanding on how ROCm works, it will require a separate Docker image.
Sadly I personally do not own any AMD GPU or have access to one right now, so I cannot give it a try, I need to check with the team if there is interest in working on this.
