What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Ardesia
2. Paint a line
3. Select the mouse
4. "drag" from the painted line, which paints another line.
5. repeat step 4.
6. Now try and select "any" other tool from the ardesia menu. It doesn't let
you select it anymore. In fact, if you click on the "normal desktop" after
that, it works, but a second click on the normal desktop starts drawing again,
and you cannot turn ardesia off at that point, so have to kill -9 it.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
See 6.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.0, windows 7 64 bit.

Please provide any additional information below.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4PHVSCZp4U&feature=youtu.be shows it in action.

Cheers!

Same issue in Linux Mint Debian Edition x64. No way to pause drawing or quit
the program. I have to kill it when I'm done. (I don't need to kill it with -9
though!)

To comment 2 from spiro.multimax. I'm sure that it is cause by gnome, the
comment 2 is a duplicate of bug 34 or 37.

Ardesia on subversion repository has been ported on gtk3.
Are there some volunters that want to try to build Ardesia on WIndows and
update the issue status.

The ticket should be closed when a Windows binary is posted, not before.
http://code.google.com/p/ardesia/downloads/list still shows the Sept 2011
release...
