As a user, I want to define the specific sources to run backup/restore on in any given group.

This feature is definitely not essential as sources you want to execute separately can be divided into separate groups as well. Also, it feels a bit like reimplementing the duplicity command line API, while we use the configuration file exactly so that we can keep the command line simple and derive behavior from the configuration file instead. Hence marked this as nice to have and setting this issue aside for the time being.
