The same document appears several times in my drive

Description

I created a form in a folder. While in the folder it appears only once. In my root folder it appears 3 times with different creation date. When I click on the several files they are actually the same. If I delete one of the files I can't access any of them any more.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create folder
2. Create a form inside it
3. Save it in Cryptdrive
4. Go back to root folder
5. See the same file (3 times)

Hi,

Thanks for your report, however I don’t manage to reproduce yet.

For step 3, “save it in CryptDrive”, are you referring to the File > Store in CryptDrive button?

If so, I indeed have the document copied in my drive when doing so (and replicated as many time I click the button, which is the intended behaviour. However, being stored 3 times while clicking only once is indeed a bug). However the creation date remains the same as they are pointing to the same (encrypted file) internally.

Could you please tell us if upon right clicking the document > Properties, the document identifier is consistent between the files?

Saving your modification should be done automatically, as our documentation states it.

It doesn’t requiring you to use the “Store in CryptDrive” which is used when someone is sharing a file with you to “bookmark” it into your CryptDrive (and also securely store additional file’s password into your Drive in order not to type it everytime you open it. More details are available in this blogpost, section “🔒 Per-Document Passwords”).

Got it ! I had a few times the modal at the bottom right prompting me to save the document though. Might be another bug.
