Original plan for first sprint:

As Max or Professor Sara, I want to be able to login so I can utilize the forum. [1] [B]

Implemented; registered users can login using their username and password. Logging in allows the user to access most existing website features.

As Max or Professor Sara, I want to be able to register so that I can create an account.[1] [C]

Implemented; a user can register a username, password and email address to enable them to use the website.

As Max or Professor Sara, I want to post a message to a specific topic so that I can participate in discussions. [1] [C]

Implemented; after navigating to a specific topic, a logged in user can post a new message to the phase.

As Max or Professor Sara, I want to create topics so that I can start new discussions. [1] [C]

Implemented; logged in users can create a new topic that they or others can comment on.

As Max or Professor Sara, I want to subscribe to topics so that I can highlight topics of interest. [1] [C]

Implemented; after navigating to a topic, a logged in user can subscribe to the topic so that it appears in his/her list of subscribed topics.

Overall, all planned features were implemented in good time. However, because of dependencies within our design, it was difficult to spread the work among all seven members; the plan is to have members who did not have an opportunity to do much work to lead the way in the second sprint.
