Stackmat Timer Requirements/Recommendations #235

We know that Stackmat Pro timers are terrible, but we have no good alternative. However, we should recommend that every competition do the following for their timers:

  • Pad the battery compartment with something so that the battery doesn't jiggle when competitors slam the timer
  • Apply O-rings over the reset buttons.
  • Have fresh batteries on hand, and swap out batteries at the first sign of trouble.
    • For major championships, install a fresh set of batteries at the beginning of the first day.
