Extend selection next to a paren selects just that paren

If my cursor is here |(some form) or here (some form|) and I do Extend Selection (cmd+w), the single paren to the right of the cursor is selected.

With structural editing, selecting a single paren is almost always a bad idea. It would be much nicer if the whole form was selected on the first press (right now it takes two presses).
