Many applications allow zooming by pressing cntrl key and middle muse scrolling. It would be nice if setzer would allow the same for the PDF view and eventually for the editor view as well.

This should already work in the preview.

No, it doesnt work for me. When I use the mouse wheel it does not change the zoom in the PDF preview. And I tried every possible combination with control key, alt key and windows key.

Last tested with setzer-git 0.4.5.r12.g612a3c1-1

Might be fixed with the latest commit. Can you try again?

yes, zooming ind PDF view works now. thanks!

But then, when zooming into the PDF document and the document is larger than the window size I can not pan the view with the middle mouse button. I have to use the windows scrollbars instead. Shall I create another feature request for this?

Yes please, but I leave this open for zooming in the text editor.
