More intuitive setting of drawing defaults (and application of settings in view mode)

Changing the default "new file" settings by way of the 'view' mode works, but is hardly intuitive. I expect manually selected settings in view mode to actually be applied to the ANSI in the view window (potentially overriding SAUCE information).
Defaults could be set explicitly with a 'Save settings as Default' command in the 'View' menu instead.
