I've been using your software, and it was a very use friendly but only able to read .rge file which is hard/troublesome to edit it by most text editor. Can you add a feature that support .reg file? Besides, .reg is easier to edit and Windows able to identify and even install it also I got used to export it via Registry Editor, I really need this feature.
Anyway, I'm sorry if this isn't proper. This tab used to report an issue but this one I take it as feature request. I don't know where to give this suggestion. I really hope you're willing to add this feature. Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion. The existing JSON format was used simply to make it easier to deserialise a tree, although it would be pretty neat if it worked on raw .REG files. Or at least the text ones, I don't fancy trying to support the binary format.
However, this isn't something I'm going to be able to quickly pull out of a hat - I rarely use this particular project and I'm pretty busy updating and improving the component libraries that I both use and that have been somewhat neglected for a while. But I will try to look into this at some point in the future.
