The training materials in this repository which are recommended for cloning are sourced from the archived repository

https://github.com/cypress-io/cypress-realworld-testing-course-app

This repository was archived on Feb 28, 2023, so it is no longer possible to make corrections to the training materials.

Suggestion

Either

Unarchive the repository https://github.com/cypress-io/cypress-realworld-testing-course-app and then actually address fundamental open issues, such as package.json and package-lock.json mismatch in start branch #251 and Failed to load SWC binary for darwin/arm64 #236 which prevent the app from running according to the setup and instructions given

or

Move all the course content to this repository https://github.com/cypress-io/cypress-realworld-testing

Is anybody able to look after these learning issues at the moment? If you follow the instructions in

https://learn.cypress.io/testing-your-first-application/app-install-and-overview

the server fails to start (see #236).

Thanks @MikeMcC399, the course app repo was archived by mistake. We're making some updates to it currently as well.

That is good to know. There are regularly problems reported in Discord with user issues on the courses.
