sdmaid isn't refreshing android media store so that other file managers can read the changes made by it properly.
To reproduce the issue I did following :
opened mixplorer (a file manager) and sdmaid.
Deleted a file from duplicates menu and/or sdmaid's explorer.
But still in mixplorer the deleted file shows up ,this isn't the case if deleting the same file from the mixplorer itself. As you have mentioned that this is the issue with explorer itself but not with duplicates menu , I can confirm that it happens with duplicates tool also.

The explorer part is technically an enhancement, if the duplicates tool
doesn't update the media store despite the option being activated, it's
a bug.
Need more time to try to reproduce this.
