I think that all the "external" processes that the app utilizes (data caching, node hosting, etc etc) should be run locally at first on the user's computer. For the app we can have a hosted service for users that's trustless in some way.
Or maybe have a dapp node package? It's hard to say because there's no official spec of what front-end + back-end will look like ATM. Maybe solve this first based on the current feature set, then figure out how to take this to mobile? I'd hate to see functionality suffer because we're optimizing for mobile too soon.
Zerion and My DeFi have mobile apps. I'd bet that mobile use is a large percentage of use. Is there a way mobile use could eventually fit into Mix?
