What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch Priiloader installer 0.4(Rev 78) with Homebrew Channel 1.0.7, use
cIOS249 rev 20

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect Priiloader to install without errors. Instead I get this error:
IOS 249 rev 20

ES_Identify failed, error 4294966267. ios249 not patched with ES_DIVerify?
using cios (holding b and then pressing + or -) will probably solve this.
NOTE: you need CIOS for this.
Do you wish to continue?
A=Yes B=No Home/Start=Exit

What version of priiloader are you using? On what ios/system menu?
v0.4(Rev 78). System menu 4.2u, system menu v481 is running under IOS61 (rev
5405)

Do you have any IOS patches installed? (if so which ios and what patch?)
As per guide on wiihacks .com site: IOS36, IOS53, IOS55, IOS60, IOS70, Hermes
v4 (IOS202,IOS223,IOS224), cIOSx v20(IOS249,IOS250)

What are your wii system menu settings
System menu 4.2u with Homebrew Channel 1.0.7.

try the beta on this site, i know it doesn't support the new HBC yet (it can be
booted from the launch title menu tho) but its better.

I can't install Bootmii as boot2, so I'm hesitant to install anything that
gives errors and could leave me with a brick.

Would you say pressing A to continue with the installation of 0.4(Rev 78) or
trying the newer beta will not brick my wii?

Thanks.

the newer beta shouldn't brick your wii but isn't officially stamped as stable
(see where im going with this ? :P )

if you really are that scared, then i'd suggest using dop-mii to install a
-FULL- patched ios36(we specially need to trucha and nand permissions) into
slot 249 (if you dont have CIOS installed)

then, redownload 0.4 from this site and hold B while installing to use 249.

IF it would say the shit above again (shouldn't tho) then just say continue
cause the nand permissions patch should make it all work :)

It seems to have installed just fine and it's working as it should. Thanks.

I installed 0.4, I already had all the necessary patches as listed in the
original post.
I still got the same error, but it installed after pressing A to continue.

Perhaps the error has something to do with recognition for the newer cIOSx v20.
But anyway, glad to have it installed and working now, thanks again.

setting this done as it apparently works fine now, and 0.5 wont be needing this
anymore :P
