I think 0.3 is basically a 1.0 prerelease.

Stabilization checklist:

  • have some people look at the design
  • use it for some stuff to make sure there's not a bad API
  • bikeshed the function naming a little bit
  • fix Fix pointer alignment #22

It's used for Bulletproofs and the transcript rng api was tweaked, checking off two of the boxes

Released 1.0.0-pre.1 with rand 0.6, expecting this to be 1.0 as long as there's no problems
