I saw the CC EDU website and saw they had a graphical menu for creating CC scripts.

I was wondering if CCEDU's source code could be released so that people can attempt to add this feature to newer versions of the Mod such as CC:Tweaked and CC:Restiched.

I am specifically asking about the programming GUI source code. I dont mind if the rest of that build remained closed.

Sadly this is unlikely to happen (see #530 and this forum post).

The TLDR is that Dan doesn't own the rights to CCEdu (as it was developed for Teacher Gaming) and so he doesn't get a say in what happens to the source code.

Maybe a recreation of some of the features without the original code (reverse engineering?), but i highly doubt SquidDev or any one involved in keeping CC updated for newer MC versions have interest on that.

I've thought about writing a program in Lua that will do it, but I've not started it yet.

i mean if someone recreated it. that would be great

Given that it's been four years since CC was open sourced, I think that's unlikely to happen by itself. Be the change you want to see in the world!
