This is a great feature and I was wondering when a version will be available with this fix?

Actually, waiting for the release of the v0.9.0 (in a few days from now), you can already test it with the 0.9.0-SNAPSHOP which is available on Maven Central.
If you don't know how to use a snapshot release, please read this post.
