I have a largish playlist of 874 tracks. Doing anything with this playlist - listing it, shuffling, etc. is very slow - sometimes enough to trigger the Android wait/kill dialog. Even playing cached tracks in sequence from this playlist, there's a pause of 5-10 sec between each track. I haven't yet experimented to see if there's a "cliff" or it just gradually gets slower. Manipulating and otherwise using playlist on the Subsonic web UI is quick.
This is happening on at least a couple Android 11 and 12 devices, both with plenty of RAM. Subsonic server is 6.1.6 - though this is about DSub since it happens when offline, too. DSub version is 5.5.3, with same behavior as the one currently available in the Google Play store.

Closing another myself... the reason for the slowless was using cache on the phone's SD card. Instead using the internal flash, even the large playlist is handled well.
