DGImageLoaderView

A bullet-proof high-performance image view that loads from your URLs (web & local!) for iOS / ObjC

It features:

  • Loading an image from URL (Internet)
  • Loading an image from URL (Local file)
  • Post processing the image to resize it to required size
  • Embedded DGFastImageSize internally to be able to quickly obtain image dimensions without actually loading the image
  • Fade in (customizable)
  • Cropping the image, with different anchors in the image
  • Rotating the image
  • Default image
  • Disabling cache
  • Keeping / disabling aspect ratio
  • Option to enlarge if smaller than the view
  • Option to stretch to fill outer bounds of view
  • Option to skip fade animation if image was loaded from cache (no delay)
  • Option to delay the download of an image (or loading from file) until the image is visible on the screen. This is nice if you have a huge gallery and do not want to preload - then it will load only when the view becomes visible.
  • Option to load the images asynchronously on another thread
  • Option to detect scale of image from fileName (if it contains @2x/@3x) even on web URLs.
  • Limit maximum concurrent download connections
