What steps will reproduce the problem?
Try on a local instance of laconica

1. api = twitter.Api()
2. statuses = api.GetUserTimeline('testuser')

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of messages list the follow error:

Trac detected an internal error:
HTTPError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
python-twitter 0.5 on windows xp

No support for any other instances of twitter as twitter.com

This issue is being discussed over at:
http://groups.google.com/group/python-twitter/browse_thread/thread/7dc58d808a9b1
024?hl=en

I'll mark it as accepted for now, but I suspect that this is probably best
opened as
a different issue to support non-twitter.com domains.
