add travis-ci integration #22

lint, test, and build on all branches
prerelease deployments to npm on release/* branches
non-prerelease deployments to npm on master
add appropriate dist-tags depending on release/prerelease
determine versioning strategy (e.g. make travis auto version based on release branch? or only version on tagged releases?)
