@dans98 Thank you for this script, I really like the idea behind it.
My only "problem" comes from the limitation with the pi camera itself, that I have to choose whether I want a timelapse or use and other program to stream a live video to monitor the printer.
I am not a programmer, so sorry if my request is not make sense...
But would it be possible to extend the functionality of this program in a way that it would stream a the last captured static image to the local network? So I would be able to monitor the printer at the same time, even only with static images.

May I reopen this FR @dans98? Still prefer your timelapse because it's easy to use and made for the Pi camera, but a picture every once in a while would be handy during remote printing.
Even the Pi zero w got an update in the mean time, maybe that has the power while still a small and cheap Pi?
